General Care Tips
The Cabbage Palm is highly versatile and will adapt to a variety of sun and soil conditions. After transplanting, water well until established. Avoid damaging lower trunk and roots.
Things to Watch For
Insect pests include giant palm weevil, cabbage palm caterpillar and scales. The Cabbage Palm is vulnerable to
ganoderma butt rot
which enters through trunk and root injuries.
